Michael exploded onto the UK grime music video scene with videos for Big Narstie, Clement Marfo, and Naughty Boy ft. Joe Jonas. He continued to collaborate with Big Narstie as a Series One director and producer on the BAFTA-winning The Big Narstie Show. He has created content for Virgin EMI, Bauer Media, and The History Channel.
 

Parallel to this, for a decade, Michael had been developing Ariella, a unique drama/thriller about the 'loverboy' method of human trafficking: researching, interviewing, writing and producing the script, raising finance, buying kit, and finessing his skills in cinematography, production design, editing, and music in order to produce Ariella completely independently in 2023–2024. Ariella is now complete and is being internationally distributed.
